The safety and security of our students, staff, and visitors continues to be our top priority in D12! This afternoon, our District Crisis Team worked through some table top exercises regarding cardiac emergencies.






A busy spring morning teaching and learning at Skyway Elementary School - strong work, Comets!









Mrs. Seabolt & Ms. Roussey's 5th-grade students finished their unit on dialogue by writing stories to wordless picture books. They shared their stories with other Skyway Comets today. Nice job 5th grade!

Skyway first & second graders had an educational & chilly, field trip to the zoo this week!




Skyway 5th graders working on the art habit of Observation as they practice blind contour drawings of birds. These Taxidermy birds were donated to skyway in the 70’s and are over 100 years old! It is a rare and special day to be able to get a closer look at these amazing specimens (and the oldest Comets in the building!)

One of my favorite events of the season... our CMJH fibers art students created three-dimensional "stuffies" from our Skyway 1st graders imagined two-dimensional drawings...with a surprise reveal this morning🧸❤️❄️
